Shane O'Connor, 17, was last seen in the Tallaght area of Dublin on 6 January 2022, and his body was found in the Bray area of Wicklow the following day. The missing person appeal was stood down after the recovery of his body. His mother Sinead O'Connor questioned on social media how he was able to leave hospital on 6 January. The death is to be referred to the National Review Panel for investigation.
