  • Serving garda sent for trial on corruption charges in Dublin Corruption · Co. Dublin

    Gary Molloy, a 46-year-old serving garda, and Mark Gaffey, 38, of Coolock, Dublin, were arrested and charged in December 2025 with corruption, conspiracy to commit criminal damage and unlawful disclosure of confidential PULSE information allegedly committed between September 2017 and September 2019. The charges followed a GNBCI investigation into serious organised crime activity. Both men appeared at Dublin District Court in February 2026 and were sent forward for trial on indictment to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, where the case is listed for mention on 14 May 2026. Molloy has been suspended from duty during the investigation.
