  Danielle McCormack, a 34-year-old woman from Limerick, pleaded guilty to two robbery charges and seven shoplifting charges at Limerick Circuit Court. The robberies took place at St John's Square in April 2025 and on Henry Street in October 2025, where two female victims had bags taken and one was knocked to the ground. She was arrested on December 23, 2025, and made full admissions. Judge Colin Daly sentenced her on July 20, 2026, to five years' imprisonment, with the final 18 months suspended for five years, backdated to December 24, 2025.
