Zainab Agoro, a 22-year-old woman with an address in Clongriffin, Dublin 13, faces 84 charges, mainly theft and money laundering, over bank lodgements made in 2022, starting with a charge dated 6 April 2022 at an Allied Irish Bank branch in Portlaoise, Co Laois. The Director of Public Prosecutions directed trial on indictment, and in May 2024 she was granted bail at Letterkenny District Court on conditions that included surrendering her passport and signing on each Wednesday at Coolock Garda Station. The case was adjourned to 8 July 2024 for service of a book of evidence. In October 2024 she appeared again at Letterkenny District Court, and the latest development is that she is to stand trial at the Letterkenny Circuit Court sitting beginning on 29 October 2024. No sentence has been reported.
