latest first- High Court adjourns Dublin apartment assault case Assault; trespass · Co. Dublin
Three Egyptian men claimed before the High Court that up to 20 men violently attacked them on the night of 13 December 2022 at their rented apartment on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8, demanding they vacate the property. The men, Mostafa Elsayed Morshedy Elsayed Faraag, Gomaa Rashed Ahmed Arafa and Hussein Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, secured a temporary High Court injunction against the apartment owner Xia Ping He on 21 December 2022. At the first full hearing on 6 January 2023, Mr He denied any involvement, claiming he had let the property to a middleman who sublet it to the plaintiffs. The case was adjourned to a later date with the injunction remaining in place.
