  Winnie McDonagh, 36, of Longford, pleaded not guilty to making a false statement at Longford Garda Station on 3 June 2021. She had alleged that while walking with her buggy she was hit by a vehicle at Longford Train Station on 10 May 2021. Gardaí investigated and CCTV footage from the station did not correspond with her claim. The DPP recommended she be charged, and she was remanded on continuing bail at Longford District Court in July 2022 until a sitting on 13 September 2022.
