Wayne Lynch, a 38-year-old man from Drogheda, is accused of possessing a 7.65 Browning calibre Zoraki Model 2906 semi-automatic pistol at an unknown location in Slane, County Meath, on 11 November 2019. He appeared via videolink at Dundalk District Court in December 2021, where the DPP directed trial on indictment. Judge Eirinn McKiernan gave him an alibi warning and sent him forward to the next sitting of Trim Circuit Court on 11 January 2022.
