Vitaly Rumyantsev, a 26-year-old man with addresses listed in Naas and Newbridge, trespassed on the grounds of the RACE training centre in Kildare town at around 3am on 11 December 2022. Gardaí told Naas District Court that he was aggressive towards the site's manager and that a physical altercation followed, with no injuries reported. He was also prosecuted for driving without insurance or a driving licence in Kildare town on 10 December 2022. On Thursday 25 January he pleaded guilty to the offences before Judge Desmond Zaidan, who accepted jurisdiction and adjourned sentencing to 16 May.
