  Kate Donohoe, 44, and her 11-month-old son Vincent were found dead in the upstairs bedroom of their home in Clonee, Dublin 15, on 8 October 2022. The State pathologist concluded both died from an insulin overdose, and a handwritten note dated 4 October 2022 was found at the scene. Gardaí found no element of foul play by a third party. In December 2024, a jury at Dublin District Coroner's Court returned a verdict of unlawful killing for Vincent and suicide for Kate Donohoe.
