    Victor Udeze, a 19-year-old man, is charged with money laundering over a sum of €3,850 in connection with an alleged offence at Daingean Post Office on 13 June 2022. He is charged with converting, transferring, handling, acquiring, possessing or using proceeds of criminal conduct, knowing or being reckless as to whether the property was such proceeds. At Tullamore District Court he was served with the book of evidence, and the DPP directed that he could be sent forward on a signed plea, so he was sent forward for trial. As of the latest report, published on 3 February 2025, he was ordered to appear at Tullamore Circuit Court on March 3.
