    On January 29, 2023, Des Teehan, 59, of Monafadda, Coolderry, Co Tipperary, was involved in a collision on the N62 road at Glasderrymore, Co Offaly, that caused serious bodily harm to Una Raleigh. He was originally charged with dangerous driving causing death, but the charge was amended to careless driving causing serious bodily harm. Teehan pleaded guilty at Tullamore Circuit Court on April 17, 2026. Judge Ronan Munro remanded him on bail to appear for sentencing on June 12.
