On 17 March 2021, Tomasz Gluch, a 37-year-old man of The Gardens, Ballymacool, Letterkenny, was stopped by Gardaí on a motorised scooter at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny, during St Patrick's Day festivities. He was charged with having no insurance on the scooter.
