A 30-year-old man was sentenced at Naas District Court on 20 October 2022 for dangerous driving and driving without insurance committed on 27 January 2018 at Old Higgins Road in the Curragh Camp, Kildare. Tomas Ziznevskis, of Graiguecullen, County Carlow, had no insurance, no driving licence, and was already disqualified from driving at the time of the offence. He made admissions to gardaí at the scene and had 21 previous convictions, including five for drink-driving. Judge Desmond Zaidan sentenced him to 10 months in prison and a 10-year driving disqualification.
