  Tom Gudgeon, 25, was killed as a rear-seat passenger in a two-car collision on the N70 at Dromquinna, south of Kenmare, Co Kerry, at approximately 5.50pm on Wednesday 13 October 2022. The female driver in her 20s and a male front-seat passenger in his 20s were taken to University Hospital Kerry, where their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, while the driver of the second car, a woman in her 40s, and a teenage female passenger were treated at the scene. The victim's body was removed to University Hospital Kerry for a post-mortem. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage, and Forensic Collision Investigators are examining the scene.
