    Three men appeared before Kilkenny District Court on 24 July 2026 in connection with alleged violent disorder and assault at Kilkenny Courthouse. Thomas O'Grady, 29, of Passage West, Co Cork, is accused of assault and violent disorder on 19 December 2025. Jason Delaney is accused of assault and violent disorder on the same date. Daniel O'Grady, 26, was charged with violent disorder and three counts of assault on 12 December 2025. Judge Geraldine Carthy sent all three matters forward to the current sittings of Kilkenny Circuit Court, and the men were remanded on bail.
