Thomas Mulcahy, 40, from Main Street, Oolagh, was stopped while driving under disqualification on 9 May 2022 in County Limerick. He pleaded guilty to charges of driving while disqualified and having no insurance at Kilmallock District Court. The court heard he had two previous driving disqualifications and 14 previous traffic convictions. He was jailed for two months, fined €500, given a three-month suspended sentence for the no-insurance charge, and disqualified for a further ten years.
