Timmy Casey, 38, was accused of demanding protection money with menaces from Michael Green, a construction site foreman, at the partly-built Parkway Valley shopping centre demolition site on Dublin Road, Limerick, on November 12, 2019. The alleged demand was made alongside Casey's now deceased brother Terry Casey to avoid damage to machinery or theft at the site.
