Terence Kenneally, a man from Timeighty, Roscrea, pleaded at Nenagh District Court in May 2023 to being intoxicated in public, for an offence at Limerick Road, Roscrea, on 31 July 2022. Gardaí, who had been dealing with another individual, restrained him because he was intoxicated and a danger to himself, and he then fully cooperated. His solicitor, Mariea Flanagan, told the court he probably should not have been drinking. Judge Elizabeth MacGrath adjourned the matter to 22 June to assess his suitability for the Restorative Justice Programme, and no sentence has been reported.
