A man in his 50s from eastern Europe was fatally stabbed and two women in their 60s were injured after a dispute at a house party spilled onto Foster Terrace, Ballybough, Dublin 3, shortly before 1.30am on 31 January 2026. The victim, identified in reports as Nazim Amir Sultanov or Navin Amir Sultanov, was pronounced dead at the scene. Tatjana Talockina, a 63-year-old Latvian woman, was arrested on 27 February 2026 and charged with his murder and with assault causing harm to one of the women. She was remanded in custody at Dublin District Court on 28 February and, after the DPP authorised trial on indictment, was returned for trial to the Central Criminal Court on 14 September 2026.
