Tanya Martin, 32, of Dundrum, Dublin, is a creche worker charged with assaulting seven young children and ill-treating five of them at the Once Upon a Time creche in Dundrum, Dublin 16, on 12 August 2025. She was first charged on 19 September 2025 with assaulting seven children under the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997, and was further charged on 12 January 2026 with assault and ill-treatment of five of the children under the Children Act 2001. She was dismissed from her role at the creche in August 2025. At Dún Laoghaire District Court on 24 February 2026, Judge Anne Watkin remanded her on bail, and she is due to appear in the Circuit Court on 16 April 2026.
