A pedestrian in his 30s died after a bus struck him on the N7 at Kill East, near Naas, County Kildare, on 1 November 2025. Sobij Shak, a 32-year-old man, was charged with alleged dangerous driving in connection with the incident. On 11 December 2025 he appeared before Naas District Court, was granted court bail with conditions to sign on three times a week at a garda station in Cork, and the case was adjourned to a later date. The Director of Public Prosecutions will examine the file.
