  Shane Mulligan, a 34-year-old man whose address was given as Ballinakill, Enfield, was involved in public order offences on June 21, 2025, at Commons West, Kilcock, County Kildare. He was prosecuted under the Public Order Act for threatening or abusive behaviour and for being intoxicated in a public place, and he admitted the offences at Naas District Court. He was already in custody, and a judge imposed a four-month custody term, reported on June 29, 2026. The defence said he wanted to be sent to the Midlands Prison for alcohol treatment, but the judge said he had no input into where people are detained.
