On 21 November 2021, an altercation in the toilet at Adie Farrell's Pub in Lanesboro, Longford, led to a fight in the car park in which Liam Mannion (34) was charged with affray by using unlawful violence and producing a weapon, while Daniel Keane (31) and Shane Cox (32) each faced an affray charge. A fourth man, subject of a European arrest warrant, is also connected to the matter. The three men were served with the Book of Evidence at a District Court sitting in July 2023 and sent for trial at Longford Circuit Criminal Court. They all pleaded guilty at a previous sitting, and the case concluded at Longford Circuit Court in February 2025, with Mannion receiving 200 hours of community service and a €2,000 payment, Keane a nine-month sentence suspended for two years, and Cox a 12-month sentence suspended for two years.
