Sean Kershaw, a 38-year-old man, placed a computer tablet in his ex-partner's kitchen at Phibblestown House, Castaheany, Dublin, to secretly film her between 1 January and 11 April 2021. The device ran for 36 days, forwarding footage to him, and her emails and WhatsApp messages were also accessed. He was arrested on 13 April 2021, with a tablet and phone seized, and pleaded guilty to harassment. On 23 June 2022, he was sentenced to three years' imprisonment suspended for three years, with a lifelong no-contact order and a destruction order for recordings.
