A parcel containing MDMA with a street value of €597,900 was delivered to a house in Adamstown, Lucan, Dublin, on 24 June 2019 in a controlled delivery. Sean Aluebhosele, a man who was 17 at the time, accepted the package from a garda posing as a courier; the parcel was addressed to his Snapchat username and appeared to be a toolbox. He pleaded guilty to possession of MDMA at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Judge Melanie Greally imposed a five-year sentence suspended in full for five years, with a headline sentence of seven and a half years.
