latest first- Man on trial for wife's murder in Youghal
Richard Satchwell, a truck driver, is on trial at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of his wife Tina Satchwell. Her remains were discovered under the stairs of the couple's home in Youghal, County Cork, more than six years after she was reported missing. Satchwell told gardaí he buried her there to keep her with him, saying the hand that killed her was also the hand that loved her. A forensic anthropologist told the court there were no injuries to any of Tina Satchwell's bones, including her hyoid bone.
