    Graffiti including the words 'FF TRAITORS' and 'traitors' was painted on the windows and walls of the constituency office of Fianna Fáil TD Ryan O'Meara, 30, on Parnell Street in Thurles, Co Tipperary. The vandalism was discovered on Friday morning, 24 October 2025, as voters went to the polls for the presidential election. O'Meara, who was first elected as a TD in November, said the attack was a deliberate attempt to intimidate him and his team. He contacted gardaí, who are now investigating the criminal damage and appealing for witnesses with dashcam or video recordings.
