    Ross Ennis, 46, a man of Dundrum View, Dublin 14, pleaded guilty at Dublin District Court to harassing his uncle in Kerry and his sister in Galway with 139 emails, some carrying voice messages delivered in a menacing manner, between September and November 2023. Judge Treasa Kelly handed the first-time offender a no-contact order and adjourned sentencing to May 2026, indicating she would consider the Probation of Offenders Act if there was no unsolicited communication for 12 months. Ennis is on bail and currently sofa surfing in the UK, where he has been living and working in recruitment for several years and has been out of work since being charged. The defence described the situation as a family feud going back 15 years, and no victim impact statements were forthcoming.
