On 18 August 2024, Roger O'Connor, a 23-year-old man from Convoy, turned left instead of right while leaving a theatre entrance onto Port Road, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, and was stopped by a passing Garda patrol car after going the wrong way on the one-way street. He was charged with dangerous driving.
