latest first- €93,005 declared proceeds of crime in Dublin Proceeds of crime (criminal assets) · Co. Dublin
On 8 January 2020, gardaí stopped a Toyota Yaris driven erratically just off Malahide Road, Dublin, at 10.30pm, and found €93,005 in cash, three BQ Aquarius phones, three Dutch SIM cards, and code-name stickers in the boot. Robert Noctor, 49, formerly of Clontarf, Dublin 3, told a detective sergeant he was instructed by unknown people to deliver the cash and had made four to five similar runs. In June 2022, Mr Justice Alexander Owens at the High Court declared the €93,005 to be proceeds of crime and appointed a Criminal Assets Bureau receiver. Noctor, who has no criminal convictions and was working as a barman in early 2020, has never sought the return of the cash or phones, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
