  Gardaí searched the home of Robbie Walsh, a 30-year-old man, at Island View, Kilrush, County Clare, on 9 November 2025 and recovered 319 grams of a white substance with an estimated street value of €22,232. A Garda presumptive test indicated cocaine, and Walsh was charged with possession with intent to sell or supply cocaine. He was remanded in custody at Ennis District Court after Garda objections to bail and spent five weeks on remand. Forensic Science Ireland later found the substance was not cocaine, and the State withdrew the two drugs charges, with the judge saying it was creatine and directing his release from Limerick prison.
