A 35-year-old man, Rihard Grigers of Woodville Manor, Dundalk, was charged with dangerous driving after being caught speeding at 175kph on the M1 motorway. He was also prosecuted for driving without insurance arising from an incident at Drumleck, Castlebellingham, at 8.15pm on September 22nd, with no year given. At a previous hearing, his defence solicitor said he had believed he was insured under his company's policy, but this was later found not to be the case.
