Five people were charged with connected organised crime offences following an investigation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. Barry Fowler, 40, was charged with directing a criminal organisation from April 2022 to June 2024, conspiracy to commit an aggravated burglary in December 2022, and unlawfully possessing a mobile phone in Mountjoy Prison. Killian McCabe, 28, Rebecca Byrne, 28, Eamon Doyle, 54, and Paul Dargan, 44, were charged with participating in or enhancing a criminal organisation and conspiracy to commit an aggravated burglary. All five appeared at Dublin District Court on 30 October 2025, where the DPP directed trial on indictment in the Circuit Court. All five were remanded in custody.
