  Francis Lynn, 41, of Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim, was charged with 12 counts of harassment of different people including Rebecca Boggs, a threatening communication sent at Cavan Post Office in June 2023, and a false report. He also faces charges of assaulting Garda Stephen Taylor, damaging a car belonging to Lennon McDevitt, and possessing a knife. A bench warrant was issued at Letterkenny District Court in January 2025 after he failed to appear, and he was remanded in custody. In September 2025, he appeared by videolink and was sent for trial at Letterkenny Circuit Court, set to commence on 28 October 2025.
