Philip Kelly, 28, of Cloghanmore, Cloghan, was involved in a car chase with gardaí on 2 October 2020 that extended over ten townlands around Glenties, Donegal. He fled into a wood and was arrested by the Armed Response Unit after a major search. He pleaded guilty to drunk driving, driving without insurance, and dangerous driving at Glenties District Court. In January 2022, he was fined €500 and banned from driving for three years.
