    Matthew Boyle, 32, of Parkview in Raphoe, Donegal, was charged with making a threat to kill his neighbour Paul Gibson in a live Facebook video. He appeared at Letterkenny District Court on 20 December 2024, where a garda sergeant said the threats were unlikely to be taken as viable and noted the accused had intellectual difficulties. Judge Éiteáin Cunningham described the charge as serious and adjourned the matter until 20 January 2025 for consideration.
