Paul Dardis, a 40-year-old man with an address at Westpark, Tallaght, Dublin 24, was charged after gardaí searched his home on 18 November 2022 and found cocaine worth about €99,000, most of it in a garden shed. He was charged with possession of drugs for sale or supply under Section 15A of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 and appeared before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. In February 2026 Judge Orla Crowe set a headline sentence of six years and imposed an actual sentence of five years, with the final 12 months suspended on condition of cooperation with the Probation Services. One report gives the sentence as four years, while the body of the same report gives five years with 12 months suspended.
