    On 29 August 2021 at approximately 1am, a man was assaulted outside a fast food restaurant in Edgeworthstown, Longford, after being jumped by a group of youths. The intoxicated victim had a bleeding face and broken teeth, and was further assaulted after running away. Patryk Mikotow, Gift Osabuehien, and a young person who cannot be named were charged with assault causing harm. At Longford District Court on 13 January 2022, Judge Bernadette Owens accepted jurisdiction and remanded all three on bail to 1 February 2022.
