  Mary Theresa Hepburn, 53, a woman and mother-of-three from Castle Grove, Raphoe, Co Donegal, was struck by a car while walking at Guesthouse End Street on 2 March 2022 following a collision between a van and a car. She died in hospital nine days later on 7 March 2022. Patrick Quigley, 52, a man from Letterkenny, was charged with driving without due care and attention causing her death under Section 52 of the Road Traffic Act 1961. He appeared at Letterkenny District Court in May 2024, was sent for trial to Letterkenny Circuit Court, and pleaded guilty when arraigned in November 2024. Sentencing has been adjourned to February 2025.
