Eugene Glennon, 74, and Pat Flynn, 52, both of Barnan, Croghan, faced charges at Tullamore District Court, with Glennon also summonsed for criminal damage. The matter had previously been dealt with by a different judge and had been adjourned. On 12 November 2021, Judge Catherine Staines struck out the prosecutions after solicitors confirmed the dispute had been resolved by a piece of land being transferred and a gate being taken down.
