    On 23 March 2022 a car reversed into another vehicle in the car park of the Marshes Shopping Centre in Dundalk, County Louth. The registered owner, Oluwakemi Adeoye, a 42-year-old woman, was charged with failing to nominate the driver, and the investigating garda said she had not told gardaí who was driving. Her defence said she could not ascertain who was driving, and the judge convicted her and she was fined €200 at Dundalk District Court, as reported on 21 March 2024.
