    Sean Byrnes, 26, attacked a 70-year-old man with a screwdriver in Dromcollogher or Broadford, County Limerick, in May 2024 after the victim caught him trying to steal a caravan window. Byrnes also rammed a Garda patrol car at O'Grady's supermarket in Ballingarry on 23 June 2021 while on bail. He was arrested in November 2024 and pleaded guilty to attempted robbery, assault causing harm, criminal damage and endangerment at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court. In June 2025, he was sentenced to seven years and six months in total, with a 10-year driving disqualification.
