• Inquest hears 12-year-old died of asphyxiation in Dublin murder Murder

  A 12-year-old boy, Oisín Reddin, was found dead in the bedroom of a house in Clondalkin, Dublin, on January 8 in a suspected murder-suicide case. His father, Wayne O'Reilly, 48, was found dead at a property in Ballyfermot a short time earlier. The boy's mother, Pamela Reddin, formally identified the body at Dublin City Mortuary. An inquest into the death opened at Dublin District Coroner's Court, where it was heard that the boy died of asphyxiation.
