  Nora McDonagh, a 30-year-old woman, was found guilty of shoplifting €400 worth of clothing from Dunnes Stores, Dublin Road, Longford, on 10 April 2021, and acquitted of a similar theft at O'Hanlon's Pharmacy, Ballymahon, on the same date. She was identified from CCTV footage and arrested in Dundalk two weeks later. At Longford District Court in March 2023, Judge Deane sentenced her to six months in prison, her 111th conviction. She is now appealing the sentence.
