  On July 7, 2022, a handbag containing €100 in cash was taken from the staff area of Eddie Rockets, O'Connor Square, Tullamore, County Offaly. According to evidence given in court, the suspect was Nora Lynch, a 51-year-old woman with 88 previous convictions, mostly for theft. Her solicitor said she had been addicted to heroin at the time, and the defence said the handbag was recovered, while the prosecution said it was recovered minus the €100. On June 28, 2023, Judge Andrew Cody at Tullamore District Court imposed a suspended sentence, directed that a probation report be prepared, and granted her bail to December 6, 2023.
