Nikita Mulpeter (29), a woman from Portarlington, Co Laois, admitted theft of goods worth €62 from the Tesco store in Cloncollig, Tullamore, on 31 January 2022. She pleaded guilty for a fourth time to shoplifting, and the court heard she had previously been given the Probation Act twice and fined €250 for another offence. At Tullamore District Court, Judge Andrew Cody warned her that the court would have "had enough" if she received another conviction within two years, and he imposed a three-month suspended sentence, reported on 21 May 2023.
