    Nicolae Tuchila, a 20-year-old man from Roscrea, Tipperary, bought a fraudulent no claims bonus certificate on Facebook and gave it to 123.ie in February 2022 to obtain an insurance policy while having no insurance. He appeared before Judge Andrew Cody at Tullamore District Court in December 2022, where he made an admission and expressed remorse. The judge offered to strike out the summons if Tuchila made a €500 donation to the court poor box.
