Two Palestine Action Éire activists, Myles Murphy, 30, and Kellie McConnell, 27, entered the Collins Aerospace building at Penrose Wharf Business Centre in Cork city before sunrise on 13 October 2025, using a ladder to reach the third floor. They damaged windows, smashed monitors, spray-painted slogans, hung a banner reading 'Collins Kills', and splashed red paint over the exterior, causing thousands of euros in alleged damage. The pair occupied the building for about eight hours before being removed by fire brigade hoist around 2pm; Murphy was arrested at the scene and McConnell at her Bray address the following night. Both were charged with burglary and appeared at Cork District Court on 14 October, where Murphy pleaded not guilty and both were remanded on bail to appear on 2 December.
