latest first- Man charged with murder in Blanchardstown, Dublin Murder · Co. Dublin
Adnan Asic, a 60-year-old Bosnian man who had lived in Ireland for over 30 years, was violently assaulted while walking home from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in the early hours of 22 October 2022 and later died at Connolly Hospital. Gardaí opened a murder investigation and appealed for witnesses at the junction of Blanchardstown Road North and Old Navan Road, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15. A man in his 40s was arrested and released without charge in January 2025 while a file was prepared for the DPP. Muris Coco, 45, also from Bosnia, was arrested and charged with murder on 14 November 2025 and remanded in custody at Blanchardstown District Court, with his next hearing set for Cloverhill District Court on 19 November.
