    Michaela Shields, a 34-year-old woman from Circular Road, Derry, was involved in an incident in the early hours of Sunday, 18 June 2023, when her car was stopped at the Dry Arch Filling Station in County Donegal. She was arrested on foot of an active bench warrant and charged with resisting arrest, being intoxicated in a public place, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in a public place. On 18 June 2023 she was brought before a special sitting of Letterkenny District Court, where the judge imposed a three-month prison sentence wholly suspended for two years, which is the latest development.
